C-Scope DXL4-D Cable Avoidance Tool with Datalogging, Depth Estimation, and Strike Alert

The DXL4D Cable Avoidance Tools from C.Scope represent a significant advance in cable detecting performance, with All-Scan function, Dual-Frequency output, Strike Alert, Swing Sensor, Data-Logging and Depth Measurement.

Innovative features have been introduced and the popular existing modes of detection have been enhanced to allow the DXL4 Cable Avoidance Tool to successfully detect even the hardest to find pipes and cables.

This C.Scope Cable Avoidance Tool has four familiar detection modes

• The POWER mode is the quickest way to detect most buried electricity cables by detecting the signal created by the electrical current itself.
• The RADIO mode detects re-radiated Radio type signals that are often present on metal pipes and cables allowing their position to be determined using just the Cable Avoidance Tool alone.
• The GENERATOR mode is used to detect the signal applied to a metal pipe or cable by a C.Scope SGA3 Signal Generator. In addition the Generator mode can be used to detect the signal being transmitted by a C.Scope Sonde for non-metallic pipe tracing.
• The ALL SCAN mode measures across all modes of detection at once: Power, Radio, Generator

• SIMULTANEOUS DUAL-FREQUENCY
  The simultaneous dual-frequency 33kHz and 131kHz signal output of the Signal Generators is ideal for maximising the number of buried services that can be energised and then detected, providing a significant improvement in the detection of the smaller diameter or poorly earthed cables.
  
• ALARM ZONE(Strike Alert)
  Alerts operators to the presence of particularly shallow pipes or cables with the trigger depth adjustable by the user
• DYNAMIC SWING SENSOR
  The Dynamic SwingSensor which gently alerts the operator if the locator is being swung excessively, potentially compromising the accuracy of any locates
• DATA LOGGING
  The DXL4-D Cable Avoidance Tool has full data logging capability. A years worth of data can be stored, in normal usage, on both the Cable Avoidance Tool and the SGV4 Signal Generator
• DEPTH MEASUREMENT
  The DXL4 when used alongside an SGA4 or SGV4 Signal Generator will measure and indicate the depth of buried pipes, cables and sondes at the push of a button.
