The Concrete Encounter CMEXpert is a digital display version of the Tramex Concrete Encounter CME4 hand-held electronic impedance moisture meter. It operates on the principle of non-destructive impedance measurement. Parallel co-planar electrodes are mounted on the base which, during operation, transmit low-frequency signals into the concrete floor. To carry out moisture tests simply brush any dust from a smooth area of concrete and also from electrodes, switch on the CMEX, hold to the surface to read the percentage moisture content. The MRH is a digital display version of the Tramex Moisture Encounter MEP hand-held electronic impedance moisture meter. It operates on the principle of non-destructive impedance measurement. Parallel co-planar electrodes are mounted on the base which, during operation, transmit a low-frequency signal into material under test. To carry out moisture tests simply press the MRH firmly against the surface being tested and take a reading. Easy. There’s no surface damage and no waiting. The MRH has 5 different measurement scales: Wood, Roofing, Masonry, Drywall and Laminate, which can be selected to suit the material that is under test.

With the optional Relative Humidity Probe the MRH III automatically changes to hygrometer mode. This then provides the ideal solution for the measurement of humidity, temperature and dew-point in structural materials such as concrete flooring, walls, etc., as well as the environmental conditions within the building or structure. Humidity readings are displayed in both Percentage Relative Humidity (%RH) and mixing ratio (grains/lb or grams/kg).

The RWS incorporates two of Tramex’s well-known moisture scanners, the Leak Seeker for Roofing, and the Wet Wall Detector for EIFS, and combines all the benefits and features of both these time proven instruments into one. The Tramex RWS has dual operating modes for EIFS and Roofing. Each of these modes has 2 ranges of sensitivity for both deep and low penetration, enabling the scanning of Roofing, and EIFS, with a signal penetration ranging from the surface up to approximately 4” (100mm).
